New version of FIX Antenna Java 2.11 was released on March 1st, 2013
B2BITS, EPAM Systems' Capital Markets Competency Center releases
new FIX Antenna Java version 2.11.
Key FIX Antenna Java 2.11
Enhancements:
- Improved performance. The new version allows delivering
over 50,000 messagesper second with persistence and over 150,000
messages per second without persistence. It adds up to 11
microseconds to latency in average for sending messages and up to 4
microseconds for reading with persistence. Full report of test
scenarios and results of FIX Antenna® Java testing you can find
here or contact B2BITS at sales@b2bits.com
- Prepared message. User is able to build template message and
send it many times with different values. Sending such messages
will be faster in most cases.
- Asynchronous and synchronous sending. User is able to choose
how to send message. Synchronous sending will give lower latency,
but asynchronous will be preferred for get better throughput.
- Extended flat message API.Added methods to work with primitive
types, which allow handling of each value in most efficient way and
using a wide range of data types without conversion.
- Extended configuration. Session now can be totally configured
from configuration file (including host, port, sender/target,
etc.). This feature is especially useful for registering acceptors
- all sessions could be defined in a single file. In addition to
old property file format, configuration could be defined in xml
format.
- Memory-mapped file storage. New type of persistent storage,
which is based on memory-mapped files. It's faster than storage
based on RandomAccessFile in most cases.
