EPAM Systems company, is pleased to share the release of version 7.2.0 of FIXEdge.
New Features and Improvements:- Support for 64-bit sequence numbers was implemented. Internal representation width of SeqNum variables was set to 64 bits, which updates the session log format. When upgrading to FIXEdge 7.2.0, existing session logs must be moved out of the log directory or converted using the new bin/logs4to5 utility.
- Logging of messages that attempt unsuccessful logons was added.
- Ability to receive and apply throttling configuration updates from FIXICC H2 was implemented.
- MQ TA storages are now archived on the scheduled DisconnectTime event (or session stop) when Cleanup=true is configured. New parameters Cleanup, ConnectTime, DisconnectTime, and DaysOff were added.
- Support for specifying of DateTime format type when converting to FIXML was implemented. See the FIXMLMapping Handler page for details.
- RestAPI CreateInitiator API call was extended to support session creation without auto-connection. See the FIXEdge Admin REST API page for details.
- Ability to selectively run predefined sets of sessions in MQAdaptor instead of a sequential count was implemented. New SessionList parameter was added.
- AI skills were added to narrow AI agents when working with FIXEdge C++.
- Message routing failure details are now included in the REST Acceptor adapter 202 Accepted response payload. See the REST Acceptor Transport Adaptor page for details.
- FIXEdge now provides its default schedule to FIXICC H2, so it is displayed in the FIXICC H2 UI schedule list for all affected sessions.
The release also includes fixes for Scheduler, REST Initiator Transport Adapter, MQ TA session states and uptime metrics, Prometheus responses, and detailed error descriptions during message rejection and routing failures.
