AI Agent Skills for FIX Antenna Java and FIXEdge Java

This announcement follows the recent release of Agent Skills for FIX Antenna .NET and FIX Antenna/FIXEdge C++.
What are Agentic AI Skills?
Agentic AI Skills provide domain-specific knowledge that enables AI coding assistants to better understand B2BITS products, helping developers become productive more quickly and reducing the time required to implement new functionality, troubleshoot issues, and configure the platform.
The initial preview includes support for:
- FIXEdge Java – Accelerate FIXEdge Java configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and operations with AI-assisted guidance for sessions, business rules, and transport adaptors.
- FIX Antenna Java – Accelerate FIX engine integration, session configuration, adaptor setup, performance tuning, and troubleshooting with product-specific AI guidance.
Compatibility
The preview packages support:
- FIX Antenna Java AI Preview Package – v2.28 and later.
- FIXEdge Java AI Preview Package – v1.13.0 and later.
Package Contents
Each package contains:
- skills/ – Product-specific Agentic AI skills that extend the capabilities of AI coding assistants.
- prompts/ – Practical prompt examples demonstrating common development and configuration workflows.
Agent Skills are included with the latest FIXEdge Java and FIX Antenna Java releases and are available as part of the standard product distribution.
