B2BITS FIX Trade Capture: Upcoming ICE FIXTC Format Changes
ICE has announced upcoming changes to the Legacy Options Security Definition Request format on FIXTC, scheduled to take effect on May 29, 2026.
The changes impact Security Definition Request handling for options instruments and may require updates for firms using FIX Trade Capture connectivity with ICE.
Please refer to the ICE notification for additional details.
Required Actions
- Update all subscriptions in the ICEProperties.properties file by replacing:
- CFICode = OXXXXX with CFICode = OXXFXX
- Restart FIXEdge after applying the configuration changes.
Implementation Timeline
- To ensure continued compatibility, please complete the required updates before May 29, 2026. We recommend performing the changes during the weekend maintenance window.
