FIXICC H2 1.1.0 Released with SAML SSO and JMS 3.0 Support

B2BITS, EPAM Systems company, is pleased to share the release of version 1.1.0 of FIXICC H2.

New Features and Improvements:

  • JMS 3.0 Support Integration: FIXICC H2 now supports configuration of JMS 3.0 (Jakarta Messaging) for FIXEdge Java directly within the UI. This enables users to leverage modern messaging capabilities and configure JMS 3.0 endpoints seamlessly through the interface.
  • SAML Authentication Support: FIXICC H2 now supports SAML-based Single Sign-On (SSO), allowing users to log in using their corporate identity providers without manual accounts creation.
  • PostgreSQL 15+ Compatibility: FIXICC H2 now supports PostgreSQL versions 15 and above, ensuring compatibility with modern database environments.
  • Improved Security for JMS Passwords: JMS connection passwords are now hidden in the UI to prevent accidental exposure during configuration.
  • Enhanced Secret Management and Deployment Security:
    • All secrets are now stored in encrypted form in the database and during Git import/export operations, improving overall data protection.
    • A default admin password can now be set via the configuration file, ensuring consistent and secure deployments across environments.
  • Groovy DSL Support in Component Mode: Support for Groovy DSL has been added to the Component mode of the Business Layer configuration. This provides advanced users with greater flexibility and customization options when defining complex business logic.
  • Session Schedule Display for FIXEdge C++: Monitoring mode now includes session schedule visibility for FIXEdge C++ sessions, enhancing operational transparency and control.
  • Visual Indication for Sessions with Outdated Parameters: A clear visual marker is now displayed for sessions that are running with outdated parameters—such as those manually edited while running or updated during import—indicating that a session restart is required to apply changes.
  • Expanded FIX Session Parameter Configuration:
  • Additional FIX session parameters have been exposed in the FIXICC H2 UI:
  • It allows users to configure a broader range of session settings directly from the interface, streamlining the setup process.
  • Enhanced Git Import/Export with Branch Filtering: The Git integration now includes search and filter functionality for branches, making it easier to locate specific branches without scrolling through long lists.
  • Updated UI Color Palette: The user interface color palette has been revised to ensure better contrast and visibility across all screens, improving accessibility and user experience.
  • Redesigned Server Configuration Screen: The server configuration interface has been reorganized into logical parameter groups, making it easier to navigate and manage settings.

Fixed Bugs:

  • Improved Platform Stability: A range of bug fixes have been implemented to ensure a more robust and reliable platform.
  • RHEL 8 Compatibility Fixes: Resolved issues that previously affected FIXICC H2 operation on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.
  • Kafka Asynchronous Send Checkbox Fix: Fixed issue where the checkbox for asynchronous send in Kafka session configuration was not functioning correctly.
  • Storage Cleanup Mode Parameter Fix: Corrected the use of available options in the Storage Cleanup Mode parameter.
  • Sending Time Accuracy Parameter Fix: Resolved an issue where the Sending Time Accuracy parameter was not being passed correctly to FIXEdge Java after configuration.
  • Schedule Cron Tooltip Fix: Improved the tooltip for cron-based scheduling, helping users configure session start and stop times more accurately.
  • Security Enhancements:Implemented protections against SQL injection and Blind Remote Code Execution vulnerabilities in Business Layer configuration, strengthening the platform’s security posture.
